Pumpkin Spice Latte

Fall is back, y’all. I definitely won’t deny it – I am certainly one of those basic chicks who loves everything pumpkin spice. What I don’t love? All of the sugar and artificial sweeteners in a typical Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks and most other coffee places. Which is why I bring to you, the ultimate PSL!

Why so ultimate? It’s dairy free and sugar free and packs lots of healthy collagen in it via Vital Proteins collagen peptides! If you’re wondering about the benefits of collagen peptides refer back to this post. Unfortunately though, I don’t have an espresso machine so I use 10 oz of black coffee in place of espresso. If you did want to make this a true latte, just use a shot of espresso and 8 oz of almond milk (or any other nut milk you prefer)! I also don’t own a frother so I simply blend all of my ingredients into my Nutri Ninja to get the frothy effect!

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz (or 1 cup) of coffee

  • ¼ cup califia farms toasted coconut almond milk

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice

  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins collagen peptides.

Directions:

  • Add all of your ingredients to a blender, blend for about 5-10 seconds, pour into your preferred coffee mug and enjoy!
